Matthew & Son (MAS) Watches was founded in 2019 by Matt Francis, a Brisbane father who shares a wristwatch obsession with his eldest son, Tate. Matt and Tate enjoy bringing their unique designs to life, and building relationships with fellow watch enthusiasts. 

MAS launched their early models, the 'Irukandji' diver, 'JCB' dress watch, and 'Arcticus' field watch via crowdfunding platform, Kickstarter, before self-funding their pilot model, the 'Aquila' in late 2022. 

What will the future bring? Matt and Tate are currently working on concepts for the highly anticipated Version 2.0 of the Irukandji. Tate is also working independently on his first design.
