The Irukandji is a feature-packed dive watch, successfully funded on Kickstarter (July 2019) and Indiegogo (September 2019), and now in stock and available for delivery. Just like its namesake, a highly venomous jellyfish found in the coastal waters of North-East Australia, the Irukandji is small in size, but packs a serious punch! Design inspiration for this piece came from the Irukandji jellyfish itself, with the contoured body of the case flowing seamlessly into the bezel, then topped with a domed sapphire crystal, reminiscent of the body of the jellyfish. The case was hand-sculpted, and each Irukandji is hand-finished, for an organic transition between case surfaces. Angular, 'tentacle' lugs complete the picture. Specifications: - 316L stainless steel case, brushed; - drilled lugs; - domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the underside; - 120-click unidirectional bezel with lumed ceramic insert; - signed, screw-down crown (200M WR); - stamped caseback with Irukandji artwork; - automatic Seiko NH35 movement (each movement regulated). The Irukandji case is 42mm at the wrist, and 39.5mm at the bezel, for a unique case design that suits a variety of wrist sizes and preferences (20mm lug width; 46mm lug to lug; 13.13mm height, from caseback to bezel). All Irukandji come with a colour matched nylon two-piece strap, with quick release spring bars to facilitate easy strap changes. If you would like your Irukandji to arrive with a 'rivet style' stainless steel bracelet, please order the 'Irukandji - Dive Watch with SS Bracelet' for $490AUD. A variety of rubber, canvas, or leather straps can also be added via our 'accessories' page. Don't forget, the Irukandji gives you the option of a 10 o'clock or 4 o'clock crown placement!
